The Very First Concord Cats Team in 2005.
Club History.
The Concord Cats Football Club was formed in 2005 with one Auskick team comprising of 11 children aged 5-7. The Club plays in the Sydney City Juniors Competition of the AFL Greater Sydney Junior Region of the AFL (NSW/ACT).
The club has grown steady since then and in 2009 comprised of 42 registered players in 5 Auskick teams from U5 to U10. The nucleus of players in the 2009 U10 team came from the our very first team back in 2005.
While we are still a young club we are committed to developing a AFL following within our community.
The Club's mission statement is simple :
"To give the kids of Concord the opportunity to enjoy football and friendship."
