Wet Weather
For Club training and home games the City of Canada Bay Council will advise the
Club after 2:30pm
Monday to Friday on which grounds are closed for play. The Club then has the
opportunity to either transfer training or home games to an alternative venue or
cancel training or home games completely.
This information is passed from the Club to each team manager who in turn will
contact their team members, usually by email. In most cases training or home
games will be cancelled. Please check your email before training or game day for
any changes due to wet weather.
You can check that status of grounds within the City of Canada Bay yourself by calling the wet weather information line on: 9911 6375.
Alternative game venues rely on grounds outside the City of Canada Bay being
open for play and agreement reached with other AFL clubs to host games on their
home ground. The Club will advise each team manager if an alternative game venue
is available for play, after 5pm on Friday
